The Cleavage
Man’s creation in god’s little toy factory was pretty much a mistake. Well, don’t believe me? Look at the prototypes. Adam and Eve. Where Eve was an eye candy for everyone from a Pygmy to an Eskimo, Adam was nowhere close to being a party-starter or a showstopper. Not even Samantha Fox would stop in her heels and give him a second look.
The job description of man and woman further support my theory. A woman has to look after the house. Bear babies. Cook food. Manage the household. Train her husband to throw dirty clothes in the washing machine and not on the couch. And what is the job description of a man. Go out earn money. Come back and make babies. So much for trusting us with more responsibility.
Further on, a woman does not need extra energy. She draws her strength from her family and loved one’s. So do men. Well, almost. God knew there were faults in the male species the minute he completed the prototype. Although he hired experts from different planets, far off galaxies and even some Japanese scientists, but this effort bore no fruit. The faults continued through the evolution and only aggravated with each passing minute.
The biggest difficulty god faced, was to provide sufficient energy for the male species. But as their minds were always pre-occupied with thoughts even god couldn’t figure out, their energy consumption was much higher than originally anticipated. God even tried installing multiple packs of energiser bunny batteries. That proved a costly mistake. (It got the workers of Energiser a hefty bonus though).
Now, the R&D team sat down and decided to create a source of energy on par with the sun but available in abundance, irrespective of night or day, to keep MAN-kind moving without unwanted interruptions.
And woosshhh, there was light, and behind that light lay the most beautiful of all god’s creations. The Cleavage.
Now man could look at them and instantly be recharged without suffering a mental breakdown. With passing years, the craving for this source of energy has reached unprecedented levels. But what can we say, it’s one source of energy that’s available in abundance and no one is waging war over it. *
*Till the time of filing this report, no wars were raged from Tokyo to Timbuktu, Nepal to New York for THE CLEAVAGE.
