Weapons Design Evolution
It’s amazing of design shapes our lives…we started with clothes barely covering our body back in the stone age….and evolved to a phase where just the hands and face were visible. But then somewhere along the line, we de-evolved…hit the reverse gear….. went skimpy….
But even as fashion touched all parts of our lives and turned into a $85 Billion…some parts still remain virgin and shabby….what???? weapons of course…..
For the zillions of dollars one pays, it’s natural to expect not just a lethal, but a good-looking weapon….but today’s weapons look like babies with no skin….just a live skeleton…
On the other hand weapon developers hardly spend anything on enhancing the external looks of a missile…I propose that leading design cells and ad agencies around the world pitch together and form a consortium to provide better designs for missiles and rockets…..
Am sure an artists touch will ensure that the sight of an incoming missile won’t be that of fear, but that of admiration of a piece of art, which although short lived and will blow up along with its admirer…..
